Albert has worked in the field of substance use/misuse prevention since 1994. In addition to substance use/misuse prevention, he trains on behavioral health and public health topics, including equity. Albert has received the 2018 Civic Leadership Award for Community Service Excellence, the 2016 William J. Bailey Prevention Leadership Award, and the 2005 Spirit of Geminus Customer Service Award. He holds a B.A. in English Arts from Hampton University and an M.S. in Management from Oakland City University. Albert enjoys sci-fi and fantasy movies and watching football.
